CAR announces new government

BANGUI — The prime minister of the Central African Republic, reappointed to his post this week, announced his new government Friday, made up mostly of members of President Francois Bozize’s party.
Of the 34 ministers in Faustin Touadera’s cabinet, ten retained their positions — including the president’s son, Defence Minister Jean-Francis Bozize.
Touadera presented the previous government’s resignation to Bozize in March, a legal formality, after the president was re-elected for a new five-year-mandate.
Mining Minister Sylvain Ndoutingai, a nephew of Bozize who has held this key post in the diamond producing country …
